Challenge

Our mission has been to cement Fisher and Paykel’s position in the premium market for home appliances, both in New Zealand and overseas. The idea was to create an emotive range of video that had every platform covered, both highlighting the intricate details of the products themselves as well as showcasing how people live their lives around them.

Solution

We’ve been working with Alt Group for six years now, and over that time have brought to life a new visual language for Fisher & Paykel. This has been by creating three distinct, ongoing streams of content: Hero Stories, Kitchen Moments and Design Stories. These each focus on a different objective for Fisher & Paykel, but share the same overall goal: to highlight the unique features of each appliance. 

 
 

Kitchen Moments

Kitchen Moments are a collection of videos emphasising key aspects of spatial design in the kitchen and showing the interaction of products with people and within their environments. These lifestyle-oriented pieces are distributed across Fisher & Paykel’s website and social media accounts. 


 
 
 

Design Stories

The Design Stories series of videos are crafted to explore the design and integration of Fisher & Paykel kitchen products by prominent interior designers and architects.


 
 
 

Behind the scenes

 

The key to our ongoing success with Fisher & Paykel has been our close relationship with Alt Group. They’re a small agency, we’re the local production company, and we work really well together. 

This project has been a great opportunity for us to develop a distinct visual tone for Fisher & Paykel, and to flex our technical muscles over the years, too. The campaign has called for content which is varied, sharp and, above all, gets results.
